Distinctive Retailers
Retailers meet
The Enterprise Agency is working closely with Teesdale Marketing and the Vision to support the Retail Distinctiveness Project. The project is seeking to empower retailers to take a more collaborative approach to trading, to recognise the uniqueness of Barnard Castle and ensure as retailers they maximise the benefits.
After early discussions with a number of retailers a first meeting was held on 16th June 2008 to look at issues and opportunities for the retailers and to have a positive discussion as to how they can engage with the Vision process.
The ultimate aim is to encourage retailers to work together, share best practices and look at new ways to achieve a healthy trading environment. We need your thoughts, if you want to be involved please let us know, the more the merrier.
