Following extensive consultation, the Barnard Castle Vision Board has identified several potential development sites in the town, linked to the Vision’s key themes. We are now commissioning detailed site assessments and economic appraisals, a streetscape strategy and transport and access study for the town. This work which is largely desk-based, will begin as soon as the project funding is confirmed. The reports will be completed by March 2008.
