Young People

Investment in Barnard Castle through the Vision will create jobs for young people, more educational opportunities and better leisure facilities. 

We are also looking to find solutions to improve transport and access for people without cars.  We are investing in science and technology including WiFi and broadband.  You can expect the same access to technology here as young people in urban areas have.  

We want you to enjoy growing up in Teesdale and we want you to stay here to live, work and bring up your own families.
