• Visiting Haltwhistle recently I saw that during the summer throughout the town the fittings used to hold small Xmas trees above shops (similar to those in Barnard Castle) hold small flags with a logo and welcome message. Let's do this in Barnard Castle.

Young People

Investment in Barnard Castle through the Vision will create jobs for young people, more educational opportunities and better leisure facilities.  We are also looking to find solutions to improve transport and access for people without cars.  We are investing in science and technology including WiFi and broadband.  You can expect the same access to technology as young people in urban areas.  We want you to enjoy growing up in Teesdale and we want you to stay here to live, work and bring up your own families.
